The ultimate air filters

The ultimate air filters

Rhino filter is a brand of hydroponics air filter manufacturer. It’s used in grow tents that combines the activated carbons with state-of-the-art design to create a carbon filter that effectively removes organic odour.

How it’s made

They are made from the Australian-mined Twist RC412 activated carbon, which is best-known mineral in the world for this purpose. The activated coal is packed tightly and then sealed in high-efficiency airflow cylinders. The cylinders are vortex coned in the base and have a customized pore surface for maximum transference. The light-weight aluminium cylinder and high porosity carbon make the filter small in size and more comfortable to handle it. This, therefore, means that there are more carbon and fewer movements in these filters. The carbon is activated in order to control unwanted odours effectively. The filter works by moving air over the activated coal which is charcoal imitative and has a massive and highly absorbent surface area at the molecular level. As the polluted air runs through the carbon, the activated carbon molecules hold onto the particles of the odour leaving the air odourless as it comes out on the other side.

Main features

These filters are considered to be the best because they are made with the Australian Twist RC412 activated carbon which provides excellent filtration. The filters remain effective between nine to eighteen months; however, they can last up to two years. The filters can push the air in both directions over the carbon, and the lifespan will remain the same. Once the carbon sleeves have depleted, they can be easily replaced in order to make the filters last longer. The filters comprise of a range of sizes and fan type depending on the need of the user.

Different types of the filter

The Rhino filters consist of, The Pro and Hobby which can be used under different conditions depending on the environment. The fan controller is a dual fan controller that enable growers to create the ultimate two fan air exchange.

After manufacturing these filters, they are thoroughly inspected and certified to confirm the quality of the carbon. They also come with a two-year warranty where they are replaced free of charge if they stop performing anytime between the given twenty-four months. They are later transported to various hydroponics shop where they can be sold to their users. The filters have been helping farmers remove organic odour in the last ten years.
